About the VRAM Test project

What vramtest.com provides, how its technical guides are maintained and the boundaries of its browser GPU workload.

What this site is for

VRAM Test is the independent web project at vramtest.com. It provides a free browser texture workload and guides that explain the measurements. The intended use is a repeatable first observation, followed by the appropriate diagnostic for the problem you actually have.

The project is not affiliated with NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Google or the maintainers of native diagnostic tools. Product names identify compatibility or references; they do not imply endorsement.

How we maintain technical content

Method explanations are based on the implementation used by this site, including texture formats, rendering size, timing samples and formulas. External API behavior is linked to documentation. Numerical examples in articles are labelled as examples rather than presented as measurements on unnamed hardware.

Changes to testing behavior should update the method, results guide and translations together. We do not publish invented reviews, user counts, certifications or GPU benchmark results. If you find a mismatch between the guide and the tool, send the page URL and a reproducible description through the contact page.

Project boundaries

The website does not perform byte-level VRAM verification, read physical memory capacity or access temperature sensors. It cannot certify an overclock or diagnose a failed memory chip. The guides explain when native verification and a real application workload provide useful additional evidence.

The tool does not require an account. Test settings, generated textures and results remain in the browser unless you choose to export or share them. Website delivery and analytics are described in the privacy policy.
